KATH MCKINNON

Kath has come on board to Magnus Health in search of a career change, she joined us in October of 2022 and has been thriving in her new role ever since. Kath is a registered psychologist and uses her background and experience to support our participants and their rights to freedom and dignity. Previously Kath was working as a psychologist in both the public and private sector where she has upwards of 15 years’ experience in the forensic field, community psychology and employment services. During this time, she worked with high-risk individuals with a wide range of mental health presentations, providing assessment and treatment. Her extensive experience in this field has assisted her transition into the disability support industry.

Kath has also worked with Queensland Corrective Services, for 14 years, during this time she used her knowledge and skills as a Program Facilitator, Program Supervisor and Principal adviser in offender rehabilitation. Kath has demonstrated her ability to work in a range of environments, assisting a variety of individuals, with her kind and friendly demeanour and smile.

Kath is a valuable asset to Magnus Health and is excited to be part of our passionate team.
